What to Expect

Faith Church Congregation

Faith Church is

Bible-Centered – Jesus is Lord at Faith.  We believe the Bible is God’s word written for his people, throughout time, to communicate his love and his plan for salvation.  We believe the holy scriptures contain everything needed for a complete understanding of God’s plan for us.  Though other books and authors help us apply Biblical principles, it is the scriptures themselves that we hold as our ultimate authority.

Liturgical – “Liturgy” means “work of the people.”  Our services, which follow an ancient order, allow for full participation of the congregation.  We sing, pray, learn, give, and proclaim our beliefs together, in fellowship with millions of other Anglicans worldwide.

Contemporary – we have streamlined our service and project the words to both the prayers and songs on screens at the front of the church so that we can concentrate on the worship, rather than keeping our place in books.  Our wonderful praise band plays modern worship music and classic hymns alike – focusing solely on worshiping Jesus.

Diverse – our family is made up of many cultures and several generations, all worshiping and serving as one.

Mission-Oriented – though we worship together on Sunday mornings, our year-round ministry is to bring the Good News of Jesus to the world around us.  Sometimes we focus on the people close to us, and sometimes the Lord calls us to far away places.
